Jason Sifers is an associate in the Employment & Labor Law and the Commercial & Complex Litigation Groups with McDonald Carano.
Jason focuses his practice on employment issues facing a variety of industries, including hospitality, manufacturing, and construction. He has handled litigation matters for clients involving employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes. Jason also counsels employers on developing and implementing employment policies and drafting employee handbooks, executive agreements, non-compete agreements, and nondisclosure agreements.
In addition to his employment practice, Jason serves as outside corporate counsel for a prominent Nevada industry association. He leverages his extensive background in the hospitality and restaurant industries in Las Vegas to assist clients within those industries in obtaining gaming and liquor licenses.
Jason received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law, where he was the Notes Editor for the Washington University Jurisprudence Review. He also served as a Research Assistant to Professor David Becker, conducting research on updates in various areas of law including real estate, tax and employment compensation.
