Professional Background

Diana Borova is the Chief Administrative Officer of McDonald Carano. She is an accomplished business professional with more than 20 years of experience handling business administration and financial management in professional services, non-profit, and marketing industries. Prior to joining McDonald Carano, Ms. Borova served as the Chief Administrative Officer of one of the 50 largest public accounting and advisory firms in the U.S. with more than 800 professionals on the West Coast.

Ms. Borova’s executive level volunteer experience includes serving as the Treasurer for Choice in Aging, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating opportunities where people can learn, grow and age independently with dignity. She is a Founding Member of the Reno Women for Good giving circle, which is a unique networking organization that helps women leverage their impact by combining their resources and collectively learning about and selecting nonprofit beneficiaries in their local communities.

In her role as CAO at McDonald Carano, Ms. Borova leads and manages the work of the Firm’s administrative departments, including Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, and Client Relations, as well as overseeing the daily operations of the Firm’s offices in Reno, Las Vegas, and Carson City. She is responsible for strategic and tactical planning, risk management, quality control, organizational development, planning processes, policy development, facilities, and other management functions. Ms. Borova supports and reports to the Firm’s Executive Committee, helping to direct and drive execution of the Firm’s operational plans and achievement of its business objectives.

Ms. Borova’s strong leadership and relationship-building skills focus on fostering a team player attitude and “Firm first” mindset. She is a strategic and visionary thinker and thoughtful problem-solver. Ms. Borova is dedicated to shaping and sustaining a Firm culture that creates a welcoming environment for all employees and continues to deliver the excellent client service that has defined McDonald Carano since its founding in 1949.
