Cassidy Wilson

Cassidy joined McDonald Carano in 2023 as a Director in our Government Affairs & Advocacy Group. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Cassidy’s home-state roots provide her with the knowledge, experience, and relationships that form the foundation for her career in government affairs, legislative advocacy, policy development, and community relations. 

Cassidy’s comprehensive scope of experience includes coordinating and executing advocacy meetings with legislators, tracking and analyzing regulations and legislation, preparing status reports and strategy documents, and assisting with policy planning and development. 

Cassidy’s background includes serving as an in-house government relations manager for HCA Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest providers of healthcare services. Cassidy served as company representative at the state and local government levels in Nevada and California working with elected officials and healthcare industry associations. Cassidy was responsible for representing and advocating on behalf of acute care hospitals, urgent cares, and free-standing emergency departments. She also managed lobby groups and public relations consultants.  

Cassidy has also served as Deputy Director of Government Affairs for Southern Nevada Home Builders Association, the largest trade association representing Southern Nevada’s residential construction industry. Cassidy organized and facilitated meetings with association members and local, state, and federal government agencies, representatives, and elected officials. She attended meetings with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and helped develop industry specific talking points and materials for the meetings.
