Sylvia Harrison Receives 3rd Lawyer of the Year award in Energy Law from Best Lawyers
McDonald Carano congratulates Sylvia Harrison on receiving her third Lawyer of the Year award in Energy Law from The Best Lawyers in America for the Northern Nevada region. Sylvia received her awards in the 2026, 2024 and 2021 editions of Best Lawyers. Lawyer of the Year honors are awarded to only one lawyer in a specific practice and geographic region who achieves “extremely high overall feedback from their peers, making it an exceptional distinction. Only 0.4% of those in private practice receive the Lawyer of the Year distinction.” Recognition is based on peer review that evaluates an attorney’s professional reputation, experience, and expertise.
Sylvia is recognized in Best Lawyers in Energy Law, Environmental Law, Natural Resources Law, and Mining Law. She has been included in Best Lawyers in America since 2013. In addition to Best Lawyers in America, Sylvia has received the highest AV Peer Review rating every year from Martindale-Hubbell since 2006 and has been ranked in Environmental Law in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business since 2005.
