Supporting the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation
McDonald Carano is proud to sponsor the annual Dozers & Dirt fundraising event supporting the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation (NNCCF), the only nonprofit in the region solely dedicated to serving children diagnosed with cancer. Since 2000, NNCCF has provided more than $7 million in direct financial assistance, all raised through the generosity of community partners and events like Dozers & Dirt. At no cost to families, each year NNCCF helps over 130 children with medical, household, educational and travel needs related to treatment. McDonald Carano’s involvement in Dozers & Dirt is led by Phil Mannelly.
Dozers & Dirt is a day of fun for children (and adults!) who can operate construction equipment and experience up close the RAVEN helicopter, fire trucks, police cars, a bomb unit, and more. The event is on September 23 from 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM at Rilite Aggregate Pit on 9208 Western Skies Drive in Reno. Register to attend or donate here.
