Rick Trachok Leads Creation of Center for Constitutional Law

McDonald Carano congratulates and thanks Rick Trachok for his leadership in helping to create a new Center for Constitutional Law at the University of Nevada, Reno. The Center for Constitutional Law is designed to “position the College of Liberal Arts at the cutting-edge of legal education and civil engagement.”

The latest issue of UNR’s Nevada Silver & Blue magazine describes the Center as a collaboration with William S. Boyd School of Law that is “driven by Rick Trachok and the College of Liberal Arts.” The Center will examine the U.S. Constitution’s impact on modern society through an interdisciplinary lens. As Rick explains, “we want a focal point within the University on the U.S. Constitution, how it came to fruition, the compromises required for adoption, the governing structure it enabled, why it has been able to endure, and challenges going forward.”
