Celebrating 75 Years of Serving Nevada’s Legal, Business, Government, and Civic Communities

Pro Bono in the Private Sector – PILA Presentation

McDonald Carano litigation attorney John Fortin participated in a panel discussion on pro bono work in the private sector hosted by the Public Interest Law Association at the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada-Las Vegas. PILA is a student organization that works with students, faculty, and members of the legal community to raise awareness about public interest work and help create opportunities for law students. In addition to sponsoring the luncheon program, McDonald Carano’s ongoing support of PILA includes donating a full grant for student public interest legal work during the summer. The PILA panel presentation was held on October 26 at Boyd School of Law.
