Pat Lundvall Recognized in Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Litigators in America
McDonald Carano congratulates Pat Lundvall, Chair of our Commercial & Complex Litigation Practice, on being selected to Lawdragon’s list of 500 Leading Litigators in America 2025. The list “honors the nation’s most elite courtroom litigators whose sustained excellence in trials is nothing short of remarkable.” Pat is the only lawyer in Nevada included in this guide to “the best litigators the U.S. has to offer.” Lawdragon describes 500 Leading Litigators as “America’s top talent who represent corporations and wealthy entities in epic battles. These are the advisors you want to send into battle.”
Pat is a Senior Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and a Co-Founder and Advisory Board member of the Complex Commercial Litigation Institute. She received a President’s Award from the National Board of Trial Advocacy and Top 100 Alumni recognition from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. Pat is ranked Band 1 in Commercial Litigation in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, is listed in “Top 50 Women Lawyers” and “Top 100 Lawyers” in Mountain States Super Lawyers magazine, and has received the highest AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 2001.
Criteria for Lawdragon’s “Courtroom Commandos”
Lawdragon’s process for selecting its list of “all-star trial lawyers and litigators” involves reviewing submissions, independent research, editorial advisors who specialize in litigation to identify candidates, and vetting with the nation’s leading trial lawyers. Criteria for selection include:
- “Which lawyers and law practices have had significant impact.
- “Cutting-edge litigation and the lawyers consistently turned to for help in those important matters. Emphasis on recent cases, defense verdicts or settlements.
- “Decades of experience on their feet in leading roles in state or federal courts, before government agencies, and international adjudicatory entities.
- “Significant work for corporations on the defense side as well as representation of businesses suing to enforce their rights.
- “Members of premier trial lawyer invite-only organizations, including the American College of Trial Lawyers or the American Board of Trial Advocates.
- “Leadership in the relevant practice within one’s firm and pertinent bar organizations.
- “Lawyers who are admired for their intellect and wisdom as well as conduct and leadership. The regard in which one is held by peers is noted.
