Nevada’s “Best Up & Coming Attorneys” 2023

McDonald Carano congratulates John Fortin, Kiley Harrison, Chelsea Latino, Phil Mannelly, and Jane Susskind on being recognized as “Best Up & Coming Attorneys” in Nevada Business Magazine’s 2023 list of the State’s top attorneys. These five distinguished attorneys also received recognition as “Top Rank Attorneys” in the 2023 list. John and Kiley are based in our Las Vegas office and Chelsea, Phil, and Jane are based in our Reno Office. They serve clients throughout Nevada in the practice areas of Appellate, Commercial & Complex Litigation, Construction Law & Litigation, and Employment & Labor Law.  

Nevada Business Magazine describes the list as “showcasing the state’s top attorneys as voted by their peers” and “representing the best of the best in the legal industry. The lawyers who make it on the list are at the top of their fields.” Best Up & Coming Attorneys are under 40 years of age and licensed to practice in Nevada for 10 years or less.

The list is created from a peer review survey of attorneys admitted to practice in Nevada. Nominees are scored on the number and type of votes received. Votes from within an attorney’s own firm receive a score of one and votes from another firm receive a weighted score of three. Each attorney on the list had to receive enough votes to qualify and had to pass verification and standing review with the State Bar of Nevada.
