Nevada Newsmakers Interviews George Ogilvie: $1B CityCenter Construction Litigation
George F. Ogilvie III, Firm Managing Partner of McDonald Carano, was interviewed on Nevada Newsmakers to share his insights regarding McDonald Carano’s successful representation of Tutor Perini Building Corp. in the prosecution and defense of $1 Billion in affirmative claims and counterclaims relating to the construction of the $8+ Billion CityCenter. George explains the model that was created to expeditiously resolve subcontractor claims and focus the owner and general contractor on the primary issue of their dispute.
George was also asked about his thoughts on water management based on his 10-year service on the Colorado River Commission, including eight years as Chair. George explained how the visionary leaders of the Southern Nevada Water Authority have put in place programs to make Southern Nevada, particularly Las Vegas, the most droughttolerant metropolitan region in the Southwest.
