Nevada Day Celebration Receives 1st Place Marketing Campaign Award
Northern Nevada Business Weekly announced the results of its 2025 Best In Business Awards and McDonald Carano LLP received 1st Place in the Marketing Campaign category for our Nevada Day card and celebration. We are proud to have also received 1st Place in this category in 2024 for our 75th Anniversary celebration.

McDonald Carano Honors Heritage with Nevada Day card
McDonald Carano LLP, founded in Reno in 1949, took home top honors in the 2025 Best Marketing Campaign as part of the Northern Nevada Business Weekly’s annual Best in Business Contest. Nevada’s law firm since 1949 showed its creativity and longevity to the Silver State with its Nevada Day Marketing Campaign named the 2025 Best Marketing Campaign.
“Our Nevada Day card initiative reflects our pride in and appreciation for our connection to our great State. We also celebrate Nevada Day because civic pride, community spirit, and public service are core values in our firm’s founding and culture,” McDonald Carano said in a prepared statement provided by Mark Buckovich, the firm’s Director of Marketing. “The goal of our Nevada Day initiative is to honor Nevada, commemorate our law firm’s Nevada heritage, and celebrate our unique position as a Nevada-only law firm. We are multigenerational Nevadans with deep ties to our great State, and we are proud to be an independent, locally owned, full-service, state-wide Nevada law firm.”
The firm, which expanded to offices in Las Vegas and Carson City, celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2024. The firm serves Nevada’s legal, business, government, and civic communities. “Our Nevada Day initiative is also designed to help deepen the sense of community that has built our State by reminding us of our unified strength, resourcefulness, and collective heritage. We celebrate Nevada Day because it commemorates Nevada’s admission to the Union and celebrates the people, places and culture that make Nevada special,” the prepared statement said.
