Celebrating 75 Years of Serving Nevada’s Legal, Business, Government, and Civic Communities

McDonald Carano Receives 18 Tier 1 Practice Group Awards in “Best Law Firms” 2023 Report

McDonald Carano proudly announces that 18 Practice Groups in our Reno and Las Vegas offices received the prestigious “Tier 1” ranking in the 2023 edition of the “Best Law Firms” report published by U.S. News–Best Lawyers. Law firms included in the “Best Law Firms” report are recognized for professional excellence with consistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. Firms that receive the Tier 1 designation reflect the highest level of respect a firm can earn among other leading lawyers and clients from the same communities and practice areas. As the “Best Law Firms” report explains, “achieving a tiered ranking signals a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise.”

To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must also first have a lawyer recognized in the associated Best Lawyers in America report, which recognizes only 6% of lawyers practicing in the United States. McDonald Carano also proudly announces that 20 Reno office lawyers and 15 Las Vegas office lawyers have been selected by their peers for inclusion in the 2023 edition of Best Lawyers in America. Three lawyers also received “Lawyer of the Year” awards and three lawyers received “Ones to Watch” awards.
