Karyna Armstrong Selected to “Top 50 Las Vegas Women Leaders of 2026”
McDonald Carano congratulates Karyna Armstrong on being recognized among the Top 50 Las Vegas Women Leaders of 2026 by the Las Vegas Chapter of the Women Leaders Association. The Women Leaders Association is the largest professional women’s network in Las Vegas. One of its key missions is to elevate accomplished women leaders in the Las Vegas business community as role models to encourage other women.
Honorees for the Top 50 list are selected based on leadership, achievements, and influence. “Some women on this list lead the region’s most visible brands. Others operate as ‘quiet power’ in energy, transportation, law, education, construction, and nonprofits – moving resources, shaping policy, and building talent pipelines that determine what Las Vegas becomes next. Every name reflects outsized impact on the Las Vegas Valley’s economy, civic life, and opportunity landscape.”
Karyna is a litigation attorney in McDonald Carano’s Las Vegas office. She assists in the representation of clients in judge and jury trials in state and federal courts, as well as appeals before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Karyna is a member of the Board of Directors for McDonald Carano’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. She also has been serving on the Executive Board of the Las Vegas Chapter of the National Bar Association since 2023.
Born and raised in Nevada, Karyna is committed to public service and giving back to the community. Karyna provides pro bono services through the Children’s Attorneys Project of the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada as well as pro bono services to members of the military through the Attorney General’s Office of Military Legal Assistance. Reflecting her background as a Substitute Teacher for the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Karyna volunteers during Nevada’s annual Nevada Reading Week.
Recent recognitions of Karyna’s leadership in her law firm, the legal profession, and the community include receiving “40 Under 40: Nation’s Best Advocates” recognition from the National Bar Association (2026), “Women Inspiring Nevada” recognition from Vegas Inc./Las Vegas Weekly (2025), “Nevada Trailblazer” recognition from Nevada Lawyer (2025), “Rising Star of the Year” recognition from Meritas Law Firms Worldwide Women’s Leadership Congress (2024), and “Diverse Lawyers Making a Difference” recognition from Profiles in Diversity Journal (2023).
