John Galvin Receives 3rd Lawyer of the Year Award from Best Lawyers in America
McDonald Carano congratulates John Galvin on receiving his third Lawyer of the Year award from The Best Lawyers in America. In the 2027 edition, John received the Lawyer of the Year award for the Northern Nevada region in Non-Profit/Charities Law. John received that same award in 2025, and in 2022 received the Lawyer of the Year award in Tax Law. Lawyer of the Year honors are awarded to only one lawyer per practice area in a specific metropolitan region who achieves the “highest overall feedback from their peers, making it an exceptional distinction.” Recognition is based entirely on peer review that evaluates an attorney’s professional reputation, experience, and expertise.
John is recognized in Best Lawyers in Tax Law (2018-2027), Trust & Estates Law (2020-2027), Real Estate Law (2021-2027), Nonprofit/Charities Law (2024-2027), and Closely Held Companies and Family Businesses Law (2027). John has also received the highest AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 2004.
