John Fortin Receives 300 Hours Club Pro Bono Recognition

McDonald Carano congratulates John Fortin on receiving 300 Hours Club recognition from the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada for the more than 300 hours of pro bono services he provides to LACSN’s Pro Bono Program. John received 300 Hours Club recognition in 2022 and 2021, and is also recognized as LACSN’s Pro Bono Volunteer of the Month for November 2022. One of John’s pro bono matters is featured in articles recently published in both Law360 Access to Justice (March 11) and Reuters’ Daily Docket (January 20). As John stated in the interview for the Pro Bono Volunteer of the Month award, “The American Bar Association and the Nevada Bar Association recommend providing 50 hours of pro bono services every year. I view that number as a minimum and provide far more every year because, in my view, it is a duty for those fortunate enough to be admitted to the Bar to provide as much pro bono services to those in need that they can.”
