Jared Dixon Joins McDonald Carano
McDonald Carano welcomes Jared Dixon to our Las Vegas office. Jared is a member of the Tax, Trust & Estates, and Business Entities & Transactions Practice Groups. Jared’s background includes serving as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Ryan D. Nelson in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Jared earned a J.D., cum laude, from Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he earned a 4.0 in Federal Tax, Estate Planning, Trusts, and Corporate Tax. He served as Associate Editor of the Brigham Young University Law Review and President of the BYU Tax Law Society. Jared also earned a M.S. in Accounting-Taxation and B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University, Marriott School of Business.
Jared’s tax experience includes serving as a Tax Intern in the Seattle office of a global provider of tax, valuation, financial advisory and related consulting services to individual and commercial clients; a Legal Intern in the Tax Practice in the Washington, D.C. office of an AmLaw 100 law firm; and a Partner in the State of Utah’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (Provo office) providing free tax preparation services to low-income and elderly taxpayers.
Jared’s trust and estates experience includes serving as a Law Clerk in the Estate Planning Practice in the Irvine office of a law firm serving clients throughout California.
