George Ogilvie Recognized in Lawdragon’s 100 Managing Partners You Need To Know
McDonald Carano congratulates George Ogilvie on being selected to Lawdragon’s 2025 list of 100 Managing Partners You Need To Know. The list recognizes “the most admired figures in law firm leadership globally … those who not only hold the title of leadership, but also do the job. Law firms are a tough business, and those who lead them well are rare.”
George is the only Managing Partner of a Nevada firm on the list. The majority of law firm leaders on the list are in firms located in New York City, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Chicago, along with two recognized leaders in London and one in Paris and one in Toronto. Forty percent of firms on the list are ranked among the AmLaw Global 100. The inaugural 100 Managing Partners list was published in 2008 and 2025 is the second edition list.
Lawdragon describes the 100 Managers Partners as “game changers … embracing enthusiastic, creative, driven and intelligent approaches to law firm growth, performance, management, and vision.” In law firm management, “everyone has an opinion, but it’s the lawyers recognized here who are on the line.”
