Daniel Aquino Promoted to Partner
McDonald Carano welcomes Daniel Aquino to the partnership of our Firm effective July 1, 2024. Dan is a tireless advocate as a litigator, a skilled problem-solver for his clients, and a role model for the Firm’s associates. “Dan has demonstrated a dedication to our Firm’s values and culture. We are excited to see him reach this milestone and we look forward to his future successes and contributions to our clients and our Firm,” said Firm Managing Partner George Ogilvie.
Dan is Co-Chair of our Employment & Labor Law Practice. He provides preventive guidance and operations advice to employers and handles a wide range of litigated employment law matters. As a member of our Commercial & Complex Litigation Practice, Dan’s litigation experience also includes contract disputes, business torts, and anti-SLAPP matters. He has first-chaired bench trials, administrative trials, and arbitrations. Dan has represented clients in appeals before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Nevada Supreme Court.
Dan is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Asian Bar Association of Nevada, and an Advisory Board member of the Filipino American Lawyers Association of Nevada. Since 2017, Dan has volunteered as a pro bono attorney for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada.
