Best Places for Women to Work in Northern Nevada
McDonald Carano proudly announces receiving two recognitions in the inaugural Best Places for Women to Work in Northern Nevada survey created by the Nevada Women’s Fund to highlight efforts to support and empower women in the workplace. We are proud to be the only law firm recognized in the results of the survey of employers representing more than 33,000 employees across Northern Nevada. Nevada Women’s Fund is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering women and strengthening communities. Through scholarships, grants, and collaborative programs, NWF identifies and funds initiatives that support women’s education, career development, and personal growth to help break down barriers and create opportunities that foster self-sufficiency and achievement. Founded in 1982, NWF began distributing education scholarships and grant funding in 1983. Since then, NWF has awarded $4,122,648 in grants and given $6,371,246 in scholarships. 2,042 women have received scholarships and 178 grants have been made to community organizations (as of 5/31/2025).
