Employee performance reviews run the gamut from helpful to the subject of Dilbert-esque scorn and ridicule.  Leigh Goddard, co-chair of the employment law practice at McDonald Carano, warns that employers who fail to make sure their performance reviews are conducted properly, may be exposing themselves to potential legal problems.
