Appointed to Northern Nevada Disciplinary Board
McDonald Carano congratulates Emily Dubansky and Lucas Foletta on their appointment to the Northern Nevada Disciplinary Board by the Nevada State Bar Board of Governors. The Disciplinary Board conducts screenings and hearings for the Office of Bar Counsel involving cases with allegations of professional misconduct. We thank Emily and Lucas for their contribution to the leadership of the State Bar and the legal profession by volunteering to serve on one of the State Bar of Nevada committees. Emily is a member of our Employment & Labor Law Practice and Commercial & Complex Litigation Practice. Her experience includes trial and appellate work in state and federal courts, administrative hearings and other proceedings before regulatory agencies, and private arbitration and mediation. She has assisted with workers’ compensation appeals up to the level of the Nevada Supreme Court.
Lucas is a member of our Government Affairs & Advocacy Group and is Co-Chair of our Energy, Environment & Natural Resources Law Practice. He also serves as Chair of the Energy, Utilities, and Communication Section of the Nevada State Bar. Lucas represents clients before the Nevada Legislature and state and local government in a wide array of regulatory and government affairs matters. In addition to the energy and environmental field, Lucas represents clients before numerous agencies on matters including licensing applications and regulatory enforcement actions.
