Construction Litigation Associate (3-5 years)

McDonald Carano LLP is seeking one or more full-time experienced Associates to join our busy and growing statewide Construction Law & Litigation Practice. Positions are available in our Reno office. McDonald Carano’s highly regarded prominence in Nevada’s construction community includes a team member who serves as the Administrative Law Judge for the Nevada State Contractors Board, and another team member who serves as outside general counsel to the Nevada Chapter of the Associated General Contractors and is the author of “Construction Laws and Customs: Nevada State Q&A” published by Thomson Reuters Practical Law. Our clients include owners, developers, investors, design professionals, general contractors, engineering professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers.

The candidate(s) should have three to five years of experience with construction transactions and disputes involving large commercial buildings, mixed-use, retail, industrial and government projects. The candidate must have strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school. Admission to the State Bar of Nevada or a willingness to sit for the next exam is required.  Must have excellent references and communication, analytical, technical and writing skills.
