The firm's lawyers regularly appear in the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and also have appeared in the California appellate courts, other Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court.
Appellate advocacy is a discrete practice area that requires specialized skill. Our appellate lawyers utilize their experience as law clerks to judges on the Nevada Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and other state and federal courts to provide the highest level of representation. This experience provides our lawyers with insight into how decisions are made at the trial court level, and how those decisions are analyzed and applied on appeal. It also provides our lawyers with the exceptional writing, analytical and oral advocacy skills needed to develop briefs and arguments and to present our clients' cases in the most persuasive way. These appellate advocacy skills, coupled with our lawyers' extensive knowledge of commercial legal issues, have resulted in an established record of appellate success.
Our lawyers have been named as "Best Lawyers in America," "Super Lawyers" and "Rising Stars. Our firm has repeatedly been ranked in the top firms in Nevada. McDonald Carano Wilson is the firm to trust with your appellate needs.
