Public service has long been a priority of the firm dating back to its founders Alan Bible and Thomas R.C. Wilson. Prior to establishing the firm, Mr. Bible served as Attorney General of the State of Nevada and later served in the United States Senate for 24 years. Mr. Wilson served in the Nevada Senate for 16 years.

Over the years, the law firm's current and former partners have continued this tradition and have held high ranking positions in the Nevada Legislature including Nevada State Senator Terry Care as well as within the federal legal system with U.S. Attorney for the District of Nevada, Dan Bodgen. Partners have been appointed to serve in the judiciary, including U.S. District Judge Larry Hicks, U.S. Magistrate Judge Valerie Cooke and State District Court Judge Deborah Schumacher.

Our partners have also been appointed to lead some of Nevada's most important government agencies including George Ogilvie, Chair of the Colorado River Commission of Nevada; Pat Lundvall, Chair of the Nevada State Athletic Commission; Miranda Du, Commissioner of the Nevada Commission on Economic Development. During our firm's history, our attorneys have chaired the Nevada Tax Commission and the Nevada Commission on Ethics. They have also served on the Uniform Law Commission and the California-Nevada Tahoe Basin Fire Commission.

In addition, many of our professionals have served with distinction in the Nevada Air National Guard and other branches of the service as well as local police and fire departments.
